Frakaday!: Funtech board

This board was donated by Robert Quenet and has apparently been sitting in a poker game arcade cabinet from the early 90:ies, the PCB says 1993. When I read out the roms the U18 rom was looking weared and when I lifted the ROM half of the top came off and it was also reading out bad, the CRC did not match the label. I checked the die and the bonding looked ok still. It is possible that UV light has reached the die if there was a crack in the ceramic package and there was also a bent leg so I am sure the board have had a rough prior life.

The U18 rom has been verified ok, the content was put in a larger 512Kb rom but the checksum on the label was only calculated for the original 256Kb rom.
